NSUI opposes offline exams for Class 12 Board Examination 2021, says internal assessment can be considered: By June 1, 2021, a decision on the Class 12 Board Exam will most likely be made. Internal evaluation, according to the National Students Union of India (NSUI), is a better alternative to offline tests.
The decision on the Class 12 Board Exam in 2021 is expected to be made soon. The entire country is anxiously awaiting the government’s verdict on the 12th grade tests. In the midst of this, the National Students Union of India (NSUI) spoke out against the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 being held offline.
Neeraj Kundan, the NSUI’s National President, posted a video pleading for the cancellation of the offline Class 12 Board Exam 2021. NSUI has also called for a massive Twitter campaign to take place today, around 2:30 p.m., on May 28, 2021.
The official statement issued by NSUI in response to the cancellation of the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 reads, “Students are not forced to suffer all of the time. If we do not raise our voices in harmony, the entire generation may implode. Students will be increasingly exposed to the virus in the future, and we will not allow the Indian government to mess with their lives if there is no vaccination programme in place.”
It went on to say, “The nation’s prosperity and growth, which is highly reliant on its youth, cannot be put in jeopardy. Join the fight to have the physical tests for the 12th grade cancelled.” Internal evaluation, home-based test, and practical marks were suggested by NSUI as some of the offline Class 12 Board Exam 2021 alternatives.
In addition, today the Supreme Court of India will hear the PIL to annul the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021. The case has been referred to the CJI’s special vacation bench, which was established to expedite urgent situations.
