The board has allotted 15 vacancies for the post of Paramedical Staff in Group ‘C “ (Nursing Staff, Hospital Attendant, Data Entry operator for clerical work, Lab.Tech.) No of vacancy details are mention below. Refer the official notification for more details.

Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
Nursing Staff – candidates should having passed 03(Three)yrs course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or B.SC Nursing.
The Indian Nursing Council ha› also laid down certain special concessions for the above courses ir respect of Auxiliary Nurse, Midwives and “B Grade Nurses by way of reduced course period etc. candidates obtaining the qualification prescribed above under these concessions will also be eligible for recruitments. Preference will be given to the candidate with experience in managing ICU cases on ventilators & Local Residents.
Hospital Attendant – candidates should have pass in 10 th Pass or ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT Note- Preference will be given for higher experience in Hospital/Medical Unit.
Data entry operator for clerical work – candidates should have pass in A University Degree or its equivalent. Typing proficiency H30 wpm in English or H 25 wpm in Hindi. Note- Skilled candidate in MS office, Google Sheet/Docs shall be preferred
Lab Tech –candidates should have pass12th (10+2 stage) in Science plus a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
Or the Certificate Course in Medical Lab. Technology at par with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) subject to the fulfillment of (i) The course has been done from the Institution which is recognized by a University or Technical Board of State Government/Central Government authority.
Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment 2021 Age Limit:
- The candidates should have age limit between 18 to 40 years of age are eligible for the posts. Refer the official notification for the vacancies details.
- Age relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the OBC/SC/ST category as per extant rules. The nos. of posts is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity. There may be “wait-listed/stand-by’ candidates against the noticed panel/select list who may be engaged as per necessity.
- Retired railway paramedical (nursing staff, retired nursing employees of State Government and Central Government who are physically fit up to 65 years of age are also eligible to appear Online Interview.

Retired Railway employees, retired Government Medical employees of State Government and Central Government, the monthly remuneration, as directed by Railway Board, is subject to the condition that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the retired staff should not exceed than the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Deafness and any other allowances which are admissible to regular Railway Servants shall be admissible.
Northeast Frontier Railway Selection Process:
- The selection process will be based on the interview. The mode of interview is online. Date and Time for the same will be communicated to eligible candidates through their personal mobile number and e-mail id as communicated in the application form.
- The day(s) of interview may extend for more than one day in case the candidates are maximum for which no TA/DA/Accommodation will be provided to the candidates in case of such eventuality.
