Candidates must have completed Matriculation (X) or an equivalent state or central board examination. Applicants must not be older than 65 years old as of July 1, 2022. Ex-servicemen appointed to Gateman positions on a contract basis will be paid an honorarium equivalent to Grade Pay 1800 (Level-1). This honorarium would be roughly Rs. 25000 at the current exchange rate.
The shortlisted candidates will be medically tested at the Railway Hospital and granted an appointment if they are determined to be suitable in the A-3 medical category. Selection Criteria Candidates will be chosen based on their military service experience.
