No More STET-CTET is Only Enough to Get Govt Teacher Job. The Bihar state government ordered to take CTET exam as the entrance test for the recruitment of teachers instead of the STET examination. Government have a plan to that candidates aspiring to become a government school teacher in the state will not need to give a separate teacher recruitment test i.e. STET (State Teacher’s Eligibility Test), and instead be recruited though Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test- CTET.

Teachers are very happy to hear the news of they have to clear only the Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test- CTET exam to get the teacher post. This would come as a big relief to teaching aspirants as now they would only need to clear CTET to be automatically eligible for a teaching post in Bihar government schools. The government announcement reads, “In the meeting held on 26 April 2022 in relation to the teacher eligibility test under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary, it has been decided that in the Bihar Panchayat Preliminary School Service Rules 2020, under the provisions made, the qualification prescribed for teacher appointment includes passing in the teacher eligibility test conducted by the Central or Bihar Government.”
