No More Extra Nap Weekend!!! Saturday Will be Working day for All Students.The monsoon in India is getting stronger this year, and the state of Karnataka has been getting constant rain for the previous few days. Schools around the state have been given breaks as a result of this intense rain.
All schools and colleges in the Dakshina Kannada district have been ordered to hold full-day classes on Saturdays because the educational institutions there have been on vacation for more than seven days.As a result, it has been stated that schools would be open every Saturday to make up for this holiday.
In order to make up for the lost class time due to excessive rain, the district government has urged educational institutions, including schools and colleges, to work on the next 6 Saturdays. Additionally, it has been made known that colleges that held online classes during the announced vacations will be subject to the same rule.
Despite the fact that schools have been closed for the past week in this case, a Department of Public Instruction official predicted that it will not significantly affect working days.
“This academic year has started 15 days sooner in the state of Karnataka than other academic years,” he remarked.As a result, this year’s school year began in the second week of May rather than the customary first day of June. Therefore, this one-week setback won’t really matter. To make up for lost study time, schools have been encouraged to schedule classes on weekends.
