No Lockdown in Tamil Nadu 2021 | Check Details Here !!! As a corona prevention measure, In Tamil Nadu various restrictions are already process, including a night lockdown from 10 pm to 4 am and a full lockdown on Sunday. However, as the corona spread increased, a full lockdown was imposed across the state for two weeks until 4 am on the 24th, with additional restrictions.
It was then decided at a meeting of the Legislative Party leaders, chaired by Chief Minister Stalin, to intensify the entire curfew. Accordingly, new regulations were enacted in addition to those already in place.
Shops selling provisions, groceries and meat in Tamil Nadu would be allowed to function only from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m, as part of intensified COVID-19 lockdown measures that will be in place till May 24 morning. They were earlier allowed to remain open between 6 a.m. and 12 noon. Even e-commerce companies, which were allowed to deliver provisions, vegetables and meat, would be allowed to operate only till 10 a.m.
All other shops are banned from opening. Meanwhile, with the lockdown coming to an end on the 24th, the government is considering extending it. Despite the government’s efforts to curb the spread of the corona, many members of the public are crowd to the outdoors as if there were no lockdowns. The shops which are allowed to operate by the government are also operating beyond the permitted hours. Therefore, social activists are urging the government to take appropriate action.
