NMDC Age Limit
Candidate’s age should not exceed the maximum age limit of 68 years to apply for Executive, Non-executive and supervisor grade post at NMDC recruitment 2021.
NMDC Eligibility Criteria
Colliery Engineer (Mechanical): Candidate should have completed Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Mining Machinery from a recognised University or Institute. Candidate should have minimum 7 years of work experience in repair and maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery to apply for this recruitment. Applicants who have experience in n large opencast mines is preferred.
Liasoning Officer: Candidate should have completed PG Degree or Diploma in Sociology or Social Work Labour Welfare or Personnel Management or IR or IRPM or HR/ or HRM. Or Candidate should complete MBA in Personnel Management or HR or HRM to apply for this post. Applicants should have minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience in Liasoning with state officials of Jharkhand to apply for this recruitment.
Colliery Engineer (Electrical): Candidate should have completed Engineering in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics from a recognised University or Institute. Candidate should possess valid Electrical Supervisory Competency Certificate (Mining) issued by State Electrical Inspectorate. Applicant should have minimum 4 years of work experience in related field to apply for this recruitment.
Mining Engineer: Candidate should hold Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Applicant should Possess Second Class or First-Class Manager Certificate of Competency under CMR issued by DGMS for coal to apply for this post. Candidate should have minimum 4 years of work experience.
Surveyor: Applicant should have completed Diploma in Mining Engineering or Mines & Mine surveying from a recognised University and hold valid mine surveyor’s certificate. Candidate should have minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience to apply for this recruitment.
Electrical Overman: Candidate should Engineering or Diploma Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognised University or Institute to apply for the post. Candidate should possess valid Electrical Supervisory Competency certificate and should have minimum 5 years of work experience to apply for the post.
Mine Overman: Candidate should have completed graduation in Mining Engineering from recognised Institute and should have second class manager certificate under CMR issued by DGMS for coal. Candidate should have minimum 5 years of work experience to apply for this recruitment.
Mechanical Overman: Candidate should have completed engineering or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery from recognized university to apply for this recruitment. Applicant should have minimum 5 years of work experience in related field to apply for this recruitment.
Mine Sirdar: Candidate should complete Matric 10th standard and have valid Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal and valid First Aid Certificate issued by St. Johns Ambulance Association. Candidate should have minimum 1 years of work experience in related field to apply for this recruitment.

NMDC Contract Details
Candidates initially appointed for the period of 3 years or till the age of 65 years which ever is earlier. Based on the performance on the candidate the contract period get extended.
NMDC Selection Process
- For Executive grade candidates will be appointed based on the performance on personal Interview.
- For Non-Executive and Supervisor level posts Candidates will be selected based on the written examination and Skill test. Written examination will be conducted for 100 marks. Based on the merit list of the written examination candidates will be called for Stage 2 (skill test). The final selection is based on the marks obtained in written test only.
