Qualification and Experience:
- For Advisor (Coal Mine Project): To apply for the post, candidates must have a BE/B.Tech (Mining) degree. It is required that the candidate have 30 years of expertise in exploration, mine planning, mine development, and management of major open cast coal mines.
- For Advisor to Director (Power): A bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university is required. To apply, a candidate must have a minimum of 30 years of experience in all elements of Thermal Power Plants with a minimum capacity of 210MW, as well as working experience in the Secretariat of Functional Directors at the level of DGM and above in any PSU for a minimum of 2 years.

- To apply for both of the above-mentioned positions, candidates must be at least 64 years old as of October 1, 2021. The consolidated monthly compensation/honorarium shall be set at the lowest level of the pay scale from which he/she retired.
