NIA Age Limit
- For Professor post the upper age limit should not exceed maximum age limit of 55 years or 56 years.
- To apply for Medical Officer post candidates age should not exceed maximum age limit of 40 years.
NIA Eligibility Criteria
Professor: Candidates should have completed Post-Graduate Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned Subject. Applicant should have minimum 5 Years of Post-Graduate Teaching Experience as Reader/Associate Professor in the concerned Subject or totally 15 years of combined work experience as Reader/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer.
Medical Officer: candidates should have completed MD or MS (Ayurveda) in Kayachikitsa or Panchakarma or Shalya Tantra or Shalakya Tantra or Prasuti & Stri Roga or Bal Roga subject from a recognized University.
NIA Salary Structure
Selected candidate for the post of Professor in NIA will get paid for Rs. 123100 to Rs. 215900 per month. Medical Officer will get paid for Rs. 56100 to Rs. 177500 + NPA per month.
NIA Selection Process
Based on qualification and experience candidates will get shortlisted for Interview and/or Selection. Objective type screening test will be conducted for medical officer Post.
NIA Application Fee
- For Professor post SC/ ST candidates have to pay Rs. 4000 as application fee and General candidates should pay Rs. 5000 as application fee.
- For Medical Officer post General candidates have to pay Rs. 3500 and SC/ST/EWS candidates need to pay Rs. 3000 as application fee.
