The East Army Commander Lt Gen Manoj Pande Become the Next Vice Chief of the Indian Army!! On Tuesday the Government of India appointed Lieutenant General Manoj Pande as the next Vice Chief of army staff. Lieutenant General Manoj Pande served as east army commander before that position.
Amid the appointment of the next Chief of Defence Staff is awaited, this appointment of Vice Chief of army staff is made. The officials of military informed to the believable news source that, the Eastern Army Commander will be the next Army Vice Chief. General Pande would be the successor to Lt Gen CP Mohanty.
On January 31, Lt Gen CP Mohanty is planned to superannuate. In December 1982, General Pande was commissioned into the Corps of Engineers – the Bombay Sappers. Mr. Manoj Pande get graduated at Staff College, Camberley placed in United Kingdom and attended the Higher Command Course at Army War College, Mhow and National Defense College which is located in Delhi.
Pande had been played the vital role in Operation Vijay and Operation Parakram, at the 37 years of his distinguished service. General Pande was serviced as the Director-General at Army Headquarters dealing with subjects of discipline, ceremonial and welfare.
