New Version Of BrahMos Missile Tested On The Coast Of Odisha In Balasore!! An Indian Space research crew test a new version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile offs the coast of Odisha in Balasore on Thursday. This mission of testing becomes a successful one. The Defence Research and Development Organisation -DRDO said the missile mentioned above was equipped with new technological developments which were successfully proven.
A naval variant of the BrahMos had successfully test-fired had successfully test-fired by the Defence Research and Development Organisation – DRDO on 11th January. This new version of BrahMos missile flies at a speed of 2.8 Mach or almost three times the speed of sound. The organization reported that the missile hit the designated target “precisely”.
Rajnath Singh, Minister of center Defense said that, “reconfirmed the robustness of the Indian Navy’s mission readiness”. He also appreciated the officials for successful launch of that missile. That specified missile is invented by BrahMos Aerospace, an India-Russia joint venture. This new version of Brahmos missile can be able to fire from submarines, ships, aircraft or land platforms. It is a supersonic cruise missile version.
