59% New Jobs for Freshers in India – Reports said!!! The survey revealed that more than 59% of employers are interested in hiring freshers between July and December in the current financial year. This means that the number of new hires in Indian companies will increase during the period from July to December, according to the TeamLease EdTech Career Outlook report. According to the report, information and technology, e-commerce and technology start-ups and telecom have the potential to hire 65%, 48% and 47% respectively.

This rapid growing of IT sector is expected to hire 100,000 new jobs to meet the demand. On the other hand, telecom companies have invested Rs.3345 crore to expand their data centers across India. The sector is recruiting for various positions in 5G-centric technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics and cloud computing in the telecom sector. Meanwhile travel & hospitality (7%), agriculture & agrochemicals (9%), manufacturing & advertising (9%) expect hiring rates.

And Bangalore has emerged as the leading city in creating new jobs. That means 68% of employers in Bangalore have announced new hiring for this year. It is followed by Mumbai (50%), Delhi (45%), Kochi (2%), Indore (2%), Coimbatore (3%) and Chandigarh (5%). Regarding this, Teamlease EdTech Founder and CEO Shantanu Rooj said, India’s hiring process is improving significantly. As a result, the employment opportunities of the youth have undergone a value-based change in the past few years, he said.
