Clinic To Provide Free Legal Assistance and Counseling To Women in Distress: Launched by NCW and DSLSA. Press Information Bureau released the detailed news regard the inauguration of free legal clinic for women of the nation. The National Commission for Women (NCW) create this facility in partnership with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA). The NCW decided to facilitate women by increase availability of the legal aid to the women. So they launch this programme of Legal Services Clinic. By this set up they want to Provide Free Legal Assistance and Counseling to Women in Distress. The inauguration of this clinic is take place at Commission’s office in Delhi on 29 March, 2022.

Ms Rekha Sharma, the Chairperson of this committee gives her key note in this occasion. She said that, this legal aid centre set up is launched with the goal of providing free advice and legal services to women of the country. This feature will focus on protecting women’s rights and providing them with a one-stop centre for seeking legal counseling and help.

From this new legal aid clinic for Womens they can get the legal advices for the purposes in walk-in complainants, women in distress will be given legal assistance, advice and information on various schemes of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA)/ DSLSA, assistance in mahila jansunwai, free legal aid, hearings in matrimonial cases and other complaints.
