Recently WhatsApp announced that they are rolling out its new update for android beta users.
Meta-owned WhatsApp one of the leading messenger applications in the tech industry has released its “Report Status” update for android beta users. In this new feature, users can report the status of other users if they considered that they are violating the terms and conditions. If it is reported, then it will go to WhatsApp for moderation purposes.
WhatsApp will consider that report and check for their moderation if it is violates are not. WhatsApp also clarifies that this feature will come under End-to-End encryption so that user’s data will not be used for this feature. This feature is already rolling out for the android beta user, once the testing is completed WhatsApp will release it to all users.
