NETS 2022 Last Date Extended: Apply Directly from Here – NTA has extended the last date to apply for National Entrance Test for Scheme for Residential Education for Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA (NETS))-2022. Previously the last date was announced as 12.04.2022. Now the last date is extended up to 14.04.2022.

The purpose of the entrance examination is to provide seats for SC students. Every year around 3000 students will selected for admission in Class 9 and Class 11 under this scheme. The paper will be based on NCERT syllabus of class VIII for admission in class IX and class X syllabus for admission in class XI. Only those candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class VIII/X in the academic session 2021-2022 can take the examination.

Correction window for SHRESHTA is available from 15.04.2022 to 16.04.2022. The entrance examination is announced to be conducted on 07.05.2022 and the admit card will be released by 02.05.2022. SHRESHTA (NETS) 2022 will be conducted in pen and paper mode (offline). The exam contains 100 questions which carries total of 400 marks.
