National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) has going to release the notification and application form for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2022. Candidates who are wanted to apply for NEST 2022 are advised to refer the Official site simultaneously for knowing the availability of the NEST Notification 2022.

The Board has planned to release the notification for National Entrance Screening Test on February 2022. Application form is also available from February 2022 and last date for NEST Registration is April 2022. Candidates are advised to consider this mentioned dates are tentative.

NEST Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates must have qualified class XI & XII from a recognised board.

• Appearing candidates must have regular science stream in Biology, Chemistry, Maths & Physics.
• Candidates must have passed the class XII examination or equivalent from any recognized Board in India in the years 2019 or 2020 or be appearing for the same in 2021.
• Minimum of aggregate 60% marks for General & OBC (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD) is required in class XII exam to appear in the entrance examination.
• The candidates born on or after 01 August 2000 (for General & OBC ) are eligible.
• For SC/ST/PWD candidates there is age relaxation by 5 years.

• Marking Scheme – There will no negative marking in the General Section and in Section 2 – Negative marking will be done.
