On November 1, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET UG 2021 result at neet.nta.nic.in. The qualifying cut-off has also been issued by NTA. The NEET entrance exam qualified a total of 8, 70,074 participants. With AIR-1, the top three rank holders received a perfect score of 720.

The state and central counselling committees, including the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), have yet to announce the dates as to when will counselling start for NEET 2021 UG medical seats. Qualified candidates will be able to take part in the NEET-UG counselling procedure 2021. For government colleges, online NEET counselling will be conducted in two quotas: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota.

As of now, state counselling bodies in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu have not provided any information about when NEET 2021 will be held.  Registration, fee payment, and choice filling and locking; seat assignment processing; and outcome and reporting are all part of the NEET 2021 counselling procedure.

NEET 2021 Counselling Process:

Registration: Candidates interested in applying for UG medical seats must first register for the NEET 2021 counselling procedure. While registering for medical seats online, candidates must enter their roll numbers, registration numbers, names, and other relevant credentials.

Payment of Counselling Fee: The NEET 2021 counselling application will only be considered complete when candidates will make the fee payment for NEET counselling 2021 fees.

Exercising and Locking Choices: Candidates must select a course and indicate their preferences for the college or institute to which they wish to be admitted. There is no limit to the number of options available to a candidate. Candidates are recommended to lock their choices; if they do not, DGHS will lock them for them.

Seat Allotment List: The NEET 2021 seat allotment list will be released by the counselling committees, DGHS on behalf of MCC (in the case of all India seats) for candidates to see which college has been assigned to them.

Reporting to the Allotted College: Candidates must be report to the allotted college with their NEET allotment letter 2021 to complete the admission processes in the last step of NEET 2021 counselling.

MCC offers three rounds of online counselling. There will be two rounds of NEET counselling for AIQ in 2021. while for deemed/central universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER MBBS admissions, a mop-up round is held. The state counselling authorities will also provide the counselling information on their websites.
