In comparison to the previous year, 60% more NEET 2022 applicants applied for Tamil Language. Report Says. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
The examination conducted once in an every year. So, candidates this year applied for Tamil languages increased to 60% when compared to previous year. The report below and refer the details.
Total Seats: 1.69 Lakhs
Applied candidates:
Male: 10.64 Lakhs
Female: 8.07 Lakhs
Transgender: 12
Comparing to previous year Additionally 2.57 Lakhs applicants applied this year
TN Student Count: 1.42 Lakhs
Students attending the examination in Tamil Language is 31, 803 (60% increase as comparing to previous year)
From Karnataka: 1.3 Lakhs Aspirants applied
From Kerala: 1.2 Lakhs Aspirants applied
