NCTE Recruitment 2021 OUT – Apply for Senior and Junior Academic Consultant  – Vacancy Details, Eligibility Criteria, Salary Structure and Application form given: National Council for Teacher Education has released a recruitment notification for hiring the post of Senior Academic Consultant & Junior Academic Consultant. There were 18 vacancies were offered for this recruitment. This recruitment is purely based on contract. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment through offline only. NCTE Vacancy Details

There were 9 Vacancies offered for the post of Senior Academic Consultant in the National Council for Teacher Education and 9 vacancies offered for Junior Academic Consultant in the National Council for Teacher Education.

NCTE Eligibility Criteria

• Senior Academic Consultant: Candidates should have to complete PhD degree in Social Science / Education discipline from a recognized University or institution with 8 years experience in research or training from Central, State Government or PST or semi government autonomous bodies or educational institutions. Candidates who have experience in project areas such as teacher’s eligibility test will get advantages. Age limit of the candidate should not exceed the maximum age limit of 60 years
• Junior Academic Consultant: candidate should have completed post Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline or Education. And applicant should posses 5 years experience in field survey or data analysis or database development or workshop organization or online education from Central, State Government or PST or semi government autonomous bodies or educational institutions. Candidates who have experience in project areas such as teachers eligibility test will get advantages. Age limit of the candidate should not exceed the maximum age limit of 45 years

NCTE Contract period

All the candidates will be initially appointed for the period of 6 months.  Based on the performance of the candidates contract period will get extended. The National Council for Teacher Education can cancel the appointment of Consultant at any time providing 15 days notice to the consultant.

Roles and Responsibilities of Senior and Junior Academic Consultant

• Framing of Curriculum for 1st Year and 2nd Year B.Ed. Course
• 4 Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme and National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education
• Candidates should have to create TET Guidelines
• To cater the needs of children with specific disability as mandated in NEP 2020, accessibility has been incorporated in the curriculum
• Maintaining NPST, NMM, PSSB and other works assigned by NCTE.

NCTE Salary Structure

• Senior Academic Consultant will get paid for Rs 1, 00,000/- per month as consolidated pay
• Junior Academic Consultant will get paid for Rs 50,000/- per month as consolidated pay
• No DA or TA will be given to Candidates and Hotel Accommodation as admissible to the officers of the Central Government of equivalent status and rank.

NCTE Selection Process

Candidates will get selected as per order/guidelines on the subject. Based on the application candidates will be called for screening test and short listed applicants shall be called for interview before an Evaluation Committee constituted by NCTE
