NASA Job Duties:
- Candidates should perform administrative and human resource management functions for staff supervised. Establishes guidelines and performance metrics for staff. Provides feedback and evaluates employee performance. Resolves informal complaints and grievances.
- Candidates know to work in knowledge of end-to-end process of development of MESA systems. This includes the technical, planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities as well as the development and infusion of technology required for Earth and space science missions.
- Assures implementation of goals and objectives for the functions overseen. Determines goals and objectives that need additional emphasis; determine the best approach/solution for resolving budget shortages; and plan for long range staffing needs.
- Responsible for carrying out assigned duties in a manner consistent with the safety policies defined. Reports safety hazards, potentially hazardous situations, and close calls. Assists supervisors to identify and eliminate un-safe conditions.
