Education Qualification

• Candidate must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level that includes experience applying contracting principles, laws, regulations and procedures applicable to pre-award and/or post award actions sufficient to procure and/or administer award-fee contract with an indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity cost-plus-fixed fee component.
• You must meet qualifications requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
• If selected, you will be required to complete a financial disclosure statement.
• This position has a drug testing requirement.

Required Experience

• Candidate must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position
• Experience in the procurement functional area to provide expert technical leadership, staff coordination, and consultation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of business strategy and program or technical requirements to perform or direct in-depth evaluation of the financial and technical capabilities or the performance of a contractor;
• Experience with environmental laws, regulations, policies, and procedures at the federal and state levels related to environmental protection, environmental management and environmental regulatory compliance sufficient to interpret and explain the reasons and purposes for applying corrective action and preventative/mitigation measures and procedures..

NASA Recruitment 2021 Responsibilities

1. Directs the full range of contract administration.
2. Monitors and administers the contract ensuring the contractor provides products and services as identified in the Statement of Work. Conducts oversight and evaluates contractor performance.
3. Reviews and evaluates the contractor’s progress related to expenditures, and recommends approval/disapproval for payment as appropriate.
4. Serve as a primary contact and interface for internal and external customers.
5. Conduct audits and/or surveillance to identify discrepancies, areas of concern, and remediation.
6. Establish and evaluate internal controls.
7. Assess customer requests to identify defined project requirements.
