Education Qualification

Candidate should have

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major study in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other field of science is mandatory.

Required Experience

• Candidate must have the skill and ability to perform the duties described above as demonstrated by progressively responsible supervisory/leadership experience, normally obtained over several years by serving in positions at the GS-15 level or equivalent.
• We recommend you provide two (2) examples of relevant experience for each ECQ. Responses to ALL ECQs must not exceed ten (10) pages; MTQ responses must not exceed one (1) page per MTQ. Please include your full name on all documents submitted needed.

• MTQ 1-Demonstrated experience serving as a strategic leader and collaborator including identifying, establishing, and advancing astrophysics priorities, mission concepts, and partnerships with external organizations such as government institutions, academia, and/or private industry.
• MTQ 2-Demonstrated experience successfully leading and managing large and complex science research programs and executing science spaceflight programs and projects within the framework of financial, schedule, technical, and policy constraints.

NASA Job Salary 2021 Details

Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary $184,248 – $189,947 /- per year from the respective board. The appointment type is Permanent.
