Nandita Sinha Appoints as Myntra’s New CEO from January 2022: Myntra India’s Fashion E-commerce portal owned by Flipkart appoints Nandita Sinha as its new chief executive officer (CEO). It is the first time women executive taking a CEO post in Ecommerce group. Nandita Sinha is taking her CEO role on January 1st, 2022 by replacing Amar Nagaram who has been working with Flipkart for past 7 years before becoming CEO.

Amar Nagaram will serve as Myntra CEO for till December 2021, after leaving he starts his own venture. Sinha has been working with Flipkart from 2013; she is the mains persons in Customer growth, media and engagement for Flipkart. Sinha takes an important part of recovering Flipkart sales in India after Covid -19 pandemic.

Reports says that Flipkart Group Clock annualised gross merchandise value (GMV) is 23 Billion dollars in 2021 and 3 Billion Dollars in GMV in Myntra’s share. Sinha moves to Myntra at a time when the fashion retailers widening its offerings in segments like beauty and personal care. She also experiments with influencer to increase the sales. Her idea makes a major impact in ecommerce platforms in India to experiment with the model which has been a success in China.
