The Flipkart-owned fashion ecommerce App of Myntra is planning to hire more than 11,000 people for temporary roles in Supply Chain, including last mile delivery and customer support, ahead of the festival season. Considering that the Indian fashion e-commerce company has absorbed most of the people it had taken on for temporary roles in this year, many may find themselves being retained this time too.
- “This has been the largest hiring drive ever at Myntra, for on-ground and customer support during any festive season, as we anticipate a strong demand across pin codes for their festive needs,” Myntra CEO Amar Nagaram told ET.

- This is probably the second time that the Company is hiring in such huge numbers to tackle the festival sale rush.
- In preparation for the festival sale, Myntra has also strengthened its customer contact centre by taking on candidates. The Company has provided an incentivizing its frontline force with perks, including attendance bonus, over and above the regular salaries.
