Essential Qualification
TEACHER
The Candidate shall possess the following minimum educational qualification:
- Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50°4 marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education duly approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE): or
- Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50°Å marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) : or
- Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council Of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) or
- Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name
- In case of recruitment of Teacher (English) , a candidate should have English as First Language all along till Higher Secondary or its equivalent or Honours in English or M.A in English
Note 1
In case of the certificate issued by the authority other than the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, the said certificate issuing authority should be set up a statutory authority and the said certificate issuing authority should be authorized by the Government of India or by the State Government of the concerned State, as the case may be, for issuing Higher Secondary Level Certificate.
Note 2
All candidates must have studied and obtained Madhyamik (Secondary) pass certificate or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subject.
Note 3
The equivalent of Madhyamik certificate means the said certificate issuing authority should be set up as per Act framed by the Government of India or by the State Government of the concerned State, and the said authority should be authorized by the Government of India or by the State Government of the concerned State, as the case may be for issuing secondary level Certificate.
“The candidate must be Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualified (State/Central) only”.
PARIBESH BANDHU
- i} Must be strong and physically
- ii) Must be able to perform outdoor duties
Duties attached to the post:
Their duties will be to clean Public Toilets maintained by KMC under SWM-1 department of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. They will clean the animal wastes from the lanes, roads and streets etc.
DOME
- Must be strong and physically Fit.
- Must be able to perform outdoor duties smoothly.
Duties attached to the post:
Their duties will be to collect small & large carcass from the lanes, streets, roads etc. of various wards under Kolkata Municipal Corporation
ASSISTANT ENGINEER
- A degree in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University.
- Working knowledge in Computer
Age
Lower and Upper age limit are 18 years and 37 yrs to 40 years respectively as on 1st January, 2020. UPPER AGE RELAXATION UP TO 5 (FIVE) YEARS IS ADMISSIBLE ONLY TO S.C. & S.T. CANDIDATES AND UP TO 3 YEARS TO O.B.C. (A & B) CANDIDATES OF WEST BENGAL. Upper age limit for recruitment of Physically Challenged persons to State Government Services and Posts shall be 45 years
Application Fee: (Non-Refundable)
- Application fee for R. & O.B.C. (A & B) candidates is Rs. 150=00 (Rupees One hundred and fifty) plus Processing Charges Rs. 50=00 (Rupees Fifty) plus Rs. 20=00 (Rupees Twenty) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.
- For C., S.T. & P.H. candidates only Processing Charges Rs. 50=00 (Rupees Fifty) plus Rs. 20=00 (Rupees Twenty) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.
- The application fees plus Processing charges as mentioned in Para’s (1) and (2) above shall be collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India and the same to be deposited to Account No. 0088010367936 through Challan generated after submission of On-line Application at our website mscwb.org.
- Besides above, a candidate may opt. for On-line payment of aforesaid fees and charges through Indiaideas.com Limited (Bill Desk).
Miscellaneous
A candidate now in service under Central or the State Government / Semi Government / Local / Statutory Body shall have to ensure that No-Objection Certificate (N.O.C.) from his/ her present Employer reaches the Office of the West Bengal Municipal Service Commission within 7 (Seven) days preceding the date of Personality Test / Interview. Otherwise he / she will be considered not eligible for the Personality Test / Interview. If at any stage a candidate is found ineligible for admission in terms of condition of eligibility for this Examination, his / her candidature will be rejected without further reference to him/her.
Last Date
Last date for Registration for on-line application and generation of challan is 15.05.2020 and application fee along with processing charges must be deposited to the Bank by 16.05.2020 and the process of submission of Application must be completed by 17.05.2020.

The West Bengal Municipal Service Commission reserves the right to rectify errors and omissions, if any, in the process of holding the Examination and final declaration of result.
