Infosys Warns Employees on Moonlighting Causes Termination – Here are the Details!!
So, India’s second biggest IT firm Infosys warns employees against ‘Moonlighting’, considering this practice an ethical flaw. Moreover, if any employees found on Moonlighting will be fired, Infosys insists. Following this, Sandeep Patel, MD of IBM India, said that Moonlighting is not a valid protocol. That is, ”notwithstanding what they (employees) can do with the rest of their time, it’s not ethical”.

But he noted that all IBM employees had signed contracts for full-time employment. Similarly, Wipro CEO Rishad said he considers Moonlighting to be “cheating – plain and simple”. Meanwhile, other companies have also started warning their employees against moonlighting.
