MoF Released NPS Subscriber’s Growth rate!!! Check the Increased Percentage Here: The pension is a scheme in which a small sum of money is added to the savings throughout the employee’s employment year. This is considered one of the most useful schemes for employees, which will give hands to them during their old ages. Today, the Ministry of Finance has released an announcement regarding the growth of NPS subscribers compared to last year.
According to the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) report, the National Pension Schemes (NPS) subscribers in various pension schemes have increased to 324.81 lakhs from 508.47 laths. This growth has counted from 5th March 2022 to 4th March 2023. This increment is almost 22.88% of year-on-year growth.
The total assets of NPS and Atal Pension Yojana have also increased from 8, 81,886.97 crores to 7, 14,342.31 crores. This is a 23.45% of increment when compared to last year. Atal pension yojana was introduced in 2015; in this scheme the employees at age of 60 years will get guaranteed benefits from the government.
