The reason for this ban of mobile phone for teachers at class room is the increase of complaints from parents and students side. The parents and the students report that the using of mobile phone during the teaching hours is disturbing the learning and teaching process. As the impact of this rule all the teachers in the government, semi-government schools and intermediate colleges are advised to hand over their mobiles to the principal or Headmaster while going to teach the students.

The order issued by the district Magistrate reads,” The complaints were found to be true in surprise checks by administrative officials. The teachers were found to be busy on social media, exchanging messages or playing games on their phones”. This rule was issued on 22nd March, 2022. More over that order informed that, at the emergency situations the head of the education organization will allow that particular staff to handle their personal phones.
