Ministry of Rural Development Job Eligibility 2023:
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories Administration or Recognized, research institutions or Universities Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous Organization Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department are eligible to apply for the post.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To supervise the work of Accountant, Accounts Clerk, and other functionaries
- Preparation of budget Proposals for the respective programs/schemes
- To exercise control over the budget allocation of the program/ schemes
- Scrutiny of the reports of the Charted Accountants/ internal Audit / CAG/ PAC etc
- Attending to Standing Committee requirements relating to Demand for Grants of respective schemes; and
- Any other assigned by the officers from time to time

Selection will be based on Deputation; Period of deputation (including short term contract).

The pay scale for the post is Level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix in 7th CPC (pre-revised scale PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 plus Rs 4600/- Grade Pay).
