GM Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the appointment by depuration should not exceed the maximum age limit of 56 years as on closing date for the application that is 04-06-2021. The cut off date for qualifying service and experience and age of the candidates for the post will be last date for the receipt.

General Manager Roles and Responsibilities

The general manager as chief executive authority of the board will be responsible for the proper administration of the affairs for the board. Selected candidates should have to prescribe and assign the duties of all officer and staff of the board who are sub ordinate to him and excursive supervision and disciplinary control.

General Manager Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed Graduation in Civil Engineering from recognized university and should have 15 years of work experience in the field for water resource projects.
• To be selected for the post under deputation candidate should be worked as officer in Central or State or Union territory administration or state electricity board or PSU autonomous body holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department
• Candidates should be holding the post of additional chief engineer or chief engineer with level 13A pay scale that is Rs. 1,31,100 to Rs. 2,16,600. Or candidates should holding the post of deputy chief engineer with level 13 pay scale or holding superintending engineer post with level 12 pay scale with 3 years of experience in the grade.

General Manager Pay Scale

Salary will be given based on Level 14 pay matrix that is Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month the officer will have a option to draw his grade pay plus deputation allowance or have his pay fixed in the scale pay of the depuration post.

Deputation Period

Selected candidates will be appointed for the period of time based on the performance of the candidates the deputation period get increased. The period of deputation in another ex cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the central government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.
