Ministry of External Affairs Careers 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidate maximum age limit shall not be beyond 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application is needed.

Passport Officer
Candidate should holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level-11 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department and Possessing Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute with nine years of experience in relevant field is necessary.
Deputy Passport Officer
Candidate should holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or with five years service in level-10 of the pay matrix rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department and possessing Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or Institute with Five years experience in Passport or Consular or Emigration or Administration or Finance or Accounts or Vigilance work or Public Grievances.
Ministry of External Affairs Salary Details
Shortlisted candidates are eligible to get a salary for Passport Officer is Rs.78800/- to Rs.209200/- PM, and for Deputy Passport OfficerRs.67700/- to Rs.208700/- PM from the respective board.
