Speaking at the Chennai Chief Secretariat regarding engineering counseling in this regard, he said about this detail. According to him, the work schedule has been made for 955 professors working in government colleges. An ordinance has been issued to convert 41 colleges affiliated with the universities operating in Tamil Nadu into government colleges.
Now these 41 colleges have been converted into government colleges and the professors will also benefit from this, he added. Meanwhile, he said that 10,351 students have appeared in the first round of counseling for engineering studies in Tamil Nadu.
