Important Announcement: CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 Decision on June 03!! Supreme Court Order
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will announce a final decision on CBSE 12th board exams 2021 soon. The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce its decision on board exam 2021 date and format by June 1, 2021. The Central Government has clarified that the CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 will be conducted. Safety of students and their future will be given more importance in conducting Class 12 examinations in the country.
Recently a high-level meeting was held where the Education Minister, officials and other cabinet ministers discussed the current situation and available options. The meeting was chaired by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokri Nishank, Union Minister for Women and Children Smriti Jubin Irani and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javdekar in the presence of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
As per the media report, during a high-level meeting on 23rd June, 2 options were suggested by the officials regarding CBSE 12th board exams 2021:
The first option is to conduct exams of 19 important subjects from August 1 and the assessment of the rest of the subjects should be done on exams that have been already conducted (i.e., internal exams & pre-board).
The second option is to conduct exams from July 15 to August 1 and from August 5 to August 26. States, where the situation is under control, can conduct exams in the first phase. The rest of the states can conduct the exams in the next phase.
According to reports, the Union Education Ministry is open to the idea of allowing the students to appear for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 from their own school.
A final decision on the CBSE class 12 board exam 2021 is to be taken by June 1, 2021. State governments are also taking the decisions for their respective 12th board exam 2021. All updates will be provided to the students 15 days before exams.
In the midst of the corona infection, not only last year’s general exams but also exams like NEET and JEE were successfully conducted by the central government with 21 lakh students.
Similarly, the examination will be held in the current year as well. Students who are unable to appear for the general examination due to corona infection will be given a second chance to appear for the examination. Admission to higher education institutions is based on Class 12 marks. The federal government has said the safety and future of students will be a top priority.
