MHT CET 2020 – Supreme Court Dismisses Plea seeking Postponement Exam. The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition seeking Postponement of the MHT CET 2020. The bench, comprising Justices Ashok Bhushan and Subhash Reddy, said the court would not suspend MET CET 2020.Orders to run NEET and JEE Main have already been issued, which is why the Supreme Court said elections in a state cannot be postponed.

At today’s hearing, the court asked, We have already allowed JEE-NEET to be held. How can be stopped in one state now? The apex court on August 22 dismissed the petition seeking adjournment of Main. National Eligibility and Entrance Examination to be held in September 2020, NEET and Joint Entrance Examination JEE.

The MHT CET exam is conducted every year to enroll in various undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses. Various states have already conducted CET exams amid the COVID-19 epidemic. The Karnataka General Entrance Examination, or KCET 2020, was held on July 30 and July 31 after the approval of the High Court.

The High Court today said that the MHT CET 2020 cannot be postponement in light of previous orders dismissing the petition seeking postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020.
