Meta Laid Off 11, 000 Workers??? Employees Not Received Proper Pay??? Check the Info below!!! Accordingly, Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, laid off 11,000 of its employees overall. This layoff is many times more than the layoffs in all other companies.
Meanwhile, Meta announced that the sacked employees will be paid 16 weeks of basic pay, six months of medical insurance, and two additional weeks for every year of service. However, complaints have been raised that many employees have not received the benefits of this concession as announced by Meta.
Specifically, members of Meta Company’s Sourcer Development Program said they receive 8 weeks of basic pay and three months of COBRA. The details as to why these employees are getting fewer benefits than other employees are not disclosed properly. However, Meta did not give any response regarding this complaint yet.
