Through compensate for the COVID-19 pandemic’s overtime losses, all schools’ classes I to IX must work full days until April 30.The Maharashtra Education Department issued a clarification on Tuesday about its recent circular requiring all schools to operate full days until April 30 to compensate for time lost due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Schools that have not completed their curriculum may operate for the entire day, including Sunday. Schools that have completed the curriculum are not required to operate till the end of April “Mr. Suraj Mandhare, commissioner of the Education Department, stated.

It stated that schools that have completed the year’s curriculum are not required to remain open until April 30. Summer holidays have not been cancelled, according to a top official from the education department.

Due to COVID schools are closed since March 2020. After the COVID count decrease the schools are opened again. Now the portion are not yet completed so to compensate that the schools in Maharashtra will operate till April 30.
