Madhya Pradesh to hold final year UG exams in Pen and Paper Mode, OBE for First & Second year students!!!. Madhya Pradesh government has decided to conduct the exams for the final-year students of UG and PG in offline mode. Also for the first year and second year students, the exams will now be held in an open-book exam pattern. This news was informed by Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav.

The state education minister Mohan Yadav stated that, “We have confirmed to conduct open book examination for first and second-year students pursuing undergraduate courses, in May. Also, the examination of final year students will be held offline mode (in college) in June.” This information was announced when the COVID19 cases increases in the state.

Although the authorities have not released the confirmed dates now, but the examinations for the first and second year will be held in June 2021 through the open book system and the final year and postgraduate, fourth-semester examinations will be held in May 2021 with physical attendance at the examination centres.

Currently, Madhya Pradesh reported 2,142 new COVID-19 cases, 1,175 recoveries, and 10 deaths yesterday. Six states in India, including Madhya pradesh continue to report major surge in daily cases of Covid-19.
