Every year, the Masimagam festival is celebrated in a huge manner in the Kumbakonam district. The devotees around Tamil Nadu gathered on that day to take a holy bath. This year theMasimagam festival will be celebrated on March 7, 2023.
To celebrate the festival, the education department has declared a local holiday for Puducherry and Karaikal region schools. All schools will not work on the 7th of March. As the practical exam for 11th and 12th students is going on, there will be no changes to them in the school schedule.
