The Law Students out of connection with legal matters for More than 5 Years are Asked to Appear for the AIBE Exam again to Get into the Legal Background. The AIBE Exam Cleared Law Degree Holder who have been Out of Practice are Required to Write the All-India Bar Examination Again.
The Affidavit was Filed by the BCI to Supreme Court stating the Fact, the Law Graduates having No Connection with the Legal Matters for Nearly 5 Years will have to Pursue the Lawyer Job Only After Clearing the AIBE Exam Again. The Law Students must take the Legal Practice Only After Passing the Exam.
The Court held a Hearing on the Appeal filed by the BCI – Against the Gujarat Court’s Judgment of an individual enrolling in Legal Profession without Leaving the Previous Job. Earlier in April Month, Court given the Verdict that – the Person Already in other Job can also Register as Advocates but will have to Clear the AIME Exam. The Already Employed Candidates will be Provided with 6 Months to Choose the Job after Passing the Exam
According the Source, the Supreme Court is Yet to make Decision on the Suspended Law Licensed Candidates, who is willing to Rejoin the Law Practice. The Decision will be Taken whether the Suspended Candidates have to Re-appear for the AIBE Exam or Not as they would have no Connection in Legal Matter for Long Period.
