Kerala Higher Secondary Exam Eligibility Criteria:
Second Year HS Exam:
- Lateral entry candidates who have undergone the CE process of all subjects of the first and second year of the course and who have appeared for the first year higher secondary improvement/supplementary examination 2022 can register for this examination
- Private full course candidates who could not appear the second year examination previously can register for this examination provided they had appeared for the first year higher secondary examination or the first year higher secondary improvement/supplementary examination 2022.

First Year Higher Secondary Examination:
- Candidates admitted to the higher secondary course in 2022-2023 academic years shall be eligible to register for the first year higher secondary examination; March 2023 provided they have undergone the process of CE in all subjects of the first year. Registration of candidates who have not undergone CE shall be automatically cancelled.
- In the case of school going candidates, they shall have attained a minimum of 75% attendance during the first year of the course. Shortage of attendance can be condoned in deserving cases subject to rules in this regard.
Kerala Higher Secondary Exam Fees 2022:

- Fee for application for Photocopy of answer scripts of all examinations conducted in 2023, submitted after the last date prescribed shall be Rs. 1000/- per paper.
Kerala Higher Secondary Exam Important Dates:
- The order sanctioning eligible concessions to candidates with special needs shall be obtained from the respective Regional Deputy Directors before 28/02/2023.
- The last date for calculating the total attendance of a Std XII candidate is fixed as 31/12/2022 and the last date for calculating the total attendance of a Std XI candidate is fixed as 31/01/2023.
How to Apply for Kerala Higher Secondary Exam Notification 2022:
- All regular school going and lateral entry candidates for the first and second year higher secondary examinations shall submit their fee to the principals of their schools.
- Regular SCOLE Kerala candidates shall submit the application and fee to the principals of the examination centre allotted to them.
- Compartmental and other candidates shall submit their applications along with the fee to the principals of the examination centres where they wrote the examination previously.
- A passport size photograph shall be pasted in the space provided in the application form. The photograph shall be attested by the concerned school Principal.
- The prescribed fee for the Examination shall be remitted to the School before the last date. The School Principal shall remit the same to the treasury in time and obtain the remittance chalan. The amount once remitted as Examination fees will not be refunded or adjusted against the fee for a subsequent Examination on any account.
