Eligibility Criteria
PROFESSOR
(1) A basic University qualification included in the Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Acl ,1956 !102 of 1956). (2) M.D./M.S./DNB Qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India in the subject Concerned.
Experience
Nine years teaching experience in the specialty concerned after requisite postgraduate degree out of which at least four years should be as Associate Professor/equivalent post in the specialty concerned in permitted/approved/ recognized Medical College.
Research Publications
Four (04) Research publications in indexed Journals on Cumulative basis with minimum of 2 Research publications during the tenure of Associate Professor as l” Author or as corresoondine; author.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
1) A basic University qualification included in the Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of i956). (2) M.D./M.S./DNB Qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India in the subject Concerned.
Experience
Five years teaching experience in the specialty concerned after requisite postgraduate degree out of which at least four years should be as Assistant Professor/equivalent pust in lhe specialty concerned in permitted/approved/ recognized Medical Ccilege.
Research publication
Two (02) research publication in Indexed Journals during the tenure of Assistant Professor as ist Author or as corresponding author
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
(1) A basic University qualification included in the Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (2) M.D./M.S./D.M/M.Ch/DNB Qualification recognized by the Medical Council of lndia in the subject Concerned.
Experience
Three years teaching experience in the specialty concerned in a permitted/approved recognized medical college as Resident/Registrar/ Demonstrator/Tutor, out of which one year should be after requisite Post-Graduate Qualification

INSTRUCTIONS / TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Only the experience gained in recognized/permitted/approved Institute will be counted towards teaching experience.
- The candidates for the above posts, less, than 70 years can apply.
- The application (along with all relevant documents including copy of retirement and relieving orders) may be submitted by hand/by post in the office of Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Karna! or through email at official email id [email protected] on or before 29.04.2020.
- Experience and all other prescribed qualifications will be counted as obtained on or before closing date of application. The period of experience shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed essential educational qualifications.
- Application fee in form of Demand Draft/ IPO/cash receipt in favour of Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Karnal of an amount of Rs. 500/ -in the Office of Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College, Karnal will have to be deposited at the time of interview.
- Walk in interview will be conducted at 09:00 AM sharp on above said prescribed dates in the Office of Director, Kalpana Chawla Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Karnal.
- The persons so engaged will submit a SERVICE AGREEMENT BOND on non-judicial stamp paper duly signed and attested by the Executive Magistrate ist Class. 8. All the candidates have to bring the original documents on the day of interviews for verification. 9. The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year or till the age of 70 years or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
10.No complaint /enquiry under HCS (Conduct) Rules should be pending against the applicant. Applicant will have to produce “No Complaint/Enquiry Declaration” by mentioning that no complaint/enquiry is pending under HCS (Conduct) Rules against him.
- Number of posts are liable to be increased or decreased, either way, including complete withdrawal.
- The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary, without assigning any reason or failure to complete the period of three months’ to the satisfaction of competent authority.
- The appointee will be allowed ten days’ Casual Leave in case of male and twenty days in case of female, during this period of one-year contract. The appointee will not be entitled to any vacation, earned leave, half pay leave, medical leave etc. However, in exceptional circumstances, leave without pay may be granted up to ten days only on the recommendation of the competent authority. In case, the absence exceeds 10 days without information, the contract will automatically stand cancelled.
- ln case, if any candidate fails to join duty within 10 days of issuing of the offer of appointment, the offer will automatically stand withdrawn/cancelled without any further notice. It is also clarified that no extension in joining time will be allowed and no correspondence on this behalf will be entertained. However, in any such case the sole right stands reserved with the Director, KCG).1C, Karnal for taking further decision.
- Medical private practice during contractual period is prohibited.
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
