Karnataka TET 2019 Exam Postponed || Official Announcement!!! Karnataka School Educational Board has released the notification for Teacher Eligibility Test on the official site. Now the Exam Date postponed.

Karnataka TET 2019 Admission Card:

CAC will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non acceptance of correction/addition/deletion of any particulars once filled in online application. The Exam Admit Card will be released soon on the official site for fresh date. The officials announced later about the admit card. Follow our site for daily updates.

The candidates may download their KARTET-2019 admission card from department website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in and appear for the examination at the given Centre. The admission card contains the details of the candidate as filled in the online application.

In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the admission card and downloaded Final online application, there is no provision for correction.

Structure and Content of KARTET-2019-20

All questions in KARTET test will be of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives. Out of which one answer will be correct.

There will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of KARTET.

Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.

Paper- II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear for both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Nature and standard of questions: 

The test items on Child development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

The Test items in Language I will focus on the proficiency of the language related to the medium of instruction.

The Test items in language II will focus on the elements of language, communication and comprehension abilities.

Language II will be a language other than Language I. A candidate may choose any one language as Language I and another as Language II from the available language options and will be required to specify the same in the Confirmation Page.

The Test items in Mathematics and Environmental Studies will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects.

In all the subject areas the questions for Paper I will be based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT / State for classes I – VIII but their difficulty level as well as linkages, could be up to the Secondary stage (X Std).

Visually impaired candidates should answer social studies question paper instead of mathematics and EVS.

Paper II (for teaching classes VI to VIII) Duration of examination – Two-and-a-half hours:

Language of the Question Paper:

The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.
