The Class 10 Board examinations for the year 2021 will begin from June 14, the Karnataka State Education Minister said.

All schools have been closed since last academic year due to the Corona curfew. In Karnataka, only the first colleges started functioning on November 17. Classes began on January 1 for 10th and PUC second year students. Lessons are conducted in the Vidyagama program for 6th to 9th classes. Classes will begin shortly for first-year PC classes. The Karnataka Education Department has also said that it has not yet decided whether to open schools for primary school students in classes 1 to 5.

The state government had also announced in early that the exams for PUC second year students would be held in the second week of May and Class 10 exams would be held in the first week of June. In this context, Karnataka Education Minister Suresh Kumar has announced on his Twitter page that the Board Exams for Class 10 students will be held from June 14 to 25.

He further said that the state government has no plans to reduce the curriculum for classes 1 to 9. He said the answer sheets of students from 1st to 9th class will be evaluated at their school. All school hostels open in Assam from Feb. 1 – Guidelines released!!

The state of Assam has issued guidelines for the prevention of corona for school hostels, which will open from February 1.

The first schools for 10th and 12th classes in Assam were opened on December 15 last. Schools were open to all other classes from January 1st. The Department of Education has issued guidelines for the prevention of corona for hostels as all hostels are scheduled to open from February 1.

Accordingly, students coming to hostels must come with their parents’ letter of permission. No one other than the staff who have been tested for infection and submitted medical certificates should come within the boundaries of the hostel. Students’ beds should be pushed aside, and students should be left in one bed and in the next, the report said.
