Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021: Exam To Be Postpone?!!!
Due to the rising COVID-19 cases, schools in the Karnataka state have urged the government to postpone the SSLC examinations. Karnataka state government will be conducting the Karnataka SSLC examinations from June 14 to 25, 2021.
The Management has further added that the Karnataka SSLC exam 2021 should be postponed and not cancelled. The Karnataka class 12 exams are considered as the foundation for the students helping them pursue higher education which is why the exams must be conducted with proper planning.
Karnataka is one of the few states which are going ahead with the state board examinations for Class 10 students despite rising COVID-19 cases.
However, the education minister said that the students of classes 1 to 9 must not be asked to physically attend the examinations and the schools must complete the evaluation process for these classes. Some of the schools are facing a shortage of teachers and staff members due to the COVID-19 situation.
There is an opinion that the Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021 must be postponed to a month or two so that the students can appear for the exams in a safe environment. The schools have also been urged that the students must be permitted to take the supplementary exams as a special consideration.
The schools have urged the government to postpone the SSLC exams. The state government is however yet to make a decision on the Karnataka SSLC Exams 2021.
