Karnataka High Court District Judge Vacancy:
Karnataka HC District Judge Age Limit:
Must not have attained the age of 48 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes or scheduled tribes and 45 years in the case of others, as on 06.11.2019. The maximum age limit is relaxed by three years in case of Ex-serviceman.
Karnataka High Court District Judge Education Qualification:
- Must be holder of a degree in Law granted by a university establish by law in India
- Must be practicing as an advocate in the High court or in a Subordinate court on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practiced for a period not less than 7 years as on such date.
Karnataka High Court Pay Scale for District Judge:
Scale of Pay: Rs.51550-1230-58930-1380-63070.
Karnataka High Court District Judge:
The Competitive Examination for recruitment of District Judge shall consist of 3 stages namely
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Viva-voce
Karnataka High Court District Judge Application Fees:
- Preliminary Examination: The Candidates shall remit an amount of Rs.500/-. But in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Category –I, the fee payable shall be Rs.250/-.
- Main Examination Fees: Shall be payable by each candidate who is successful in the Preliminary Examination and eligible to appear for the Main Examination immediately within 15 (Fifteen) day from the date of announcing the result of the Preliminary Examination, failing which, their candidature will not be considered for Main Examination. The Candidate shall remit an amount of Rs.1000/-. But in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/ Category-I, the fee payable shall be Rs.750/-
