Karnataka CET 2021 Postponed, Now the Exam will be held on 28, 29,30 August!!!. Higher Education Minister Dr Ashwathnarayan CN announced that the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 has been postponed and will now take place in 28 & 29,30 August 2021. According to the minister, the entrance exam has been postponed due to the present COVID-19 condition, as well as the postponement of the second PUC or Class 12 final exams.
Previously Karnataka CET exam was scheduled to be held on July 7 and 8, 2021. The New Karnataka CET 2021 schedule is provided below:

The Official Press Note states that “Due to postponement of 2021 annual 2nd PUC exams and by considering the rising of COVID19 cases in the state Common Entrance Test-2021 Scheduled to be held on 07.07.2021 and 08.07.2021 and Kannada Language Test on 09.07.2021 has been postponed”. It further adds “Now CET 2021 will be conducted on 28.08.2021 and 29.08.2021 and Kannada Language Test on 30.08.2021. Further Application will be invited through shortly”
The Kannada Language Test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga students has also been postponed by the administration. Instead of July 9, the exam will be held on August 30. This postponement news was confirmed by the minister’s twitter handle. Due to increasing number of COVID cases the exam has been postponed.
The Karnataka Examination Authority regulates the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, also known as KCET (KEA). It is used to determine eligibility for educational programmes such as Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma of Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture (Farm Science), and Veterinary Medicine.
