Karnataka to generate Nearly 10 Lakh Jobs in IT and allied sectors by 2025. According to the Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan statement, Karnataka will generate nearly 10 lakh jobs in IT and its allied sectors under The Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM). As per the government’s report Karnataka will reach the goal of 150 billion dollar in IT exports and also to become a 300 Billion dollar Economy by 2025.
**Latest Graduate Job Notification 2020 -21**
For this initiative, KDEM will establish public private partnership model. In the model NASSCOM, (ASSOCHAM), India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA), and Vision Group on Startups- contribute 51 per cent stake.
The Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) aims to attract investments for the IT/ITeS sector in the state and to create 10 lakh jobs by 2025. It works to achieve the target by focusing on 5 verticals of Information and Technology products and its related sectors, Innovation and Startups, Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM).
Currently, worst effect of the pandemic on the Indian economy has been the widespread loss of jobs, substantial pay cuts, and disruptions in education and training programmes. Now this state government announcement was welcomed by state youths.
