Kanniyakumari Local Holiday On JAN 05 2023!!! On January 5th, 2023, a local holiday has been declared in the Kanyakumari district. To make up for the holiday, District Collector Arvind declared February 25 as a working day.
At the Thanumalayan Swamy temple in Sushinethram, the Margazhi festival will start tomorrow morning with the raising of the flag. The flag will be hoisted at the well-known Suchindram Thanumalayan Swamy temple in the Kanyakumari district to kick off the Margazhi festival.
The flag made by the elderly residents of Italakudi Pattariyar is delivered to the shrine in a procession this evening. For this Festival reason, the local holiday is announced on January 5, 2023. People continue to visit us for the most recent information.
