JNU Winter Semester Registration 2021 Postponed – Commence Again From May 8. The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has postponed the registration process for admission to the Winter Semesters. The Board was planned and announced that the admission registration process begins from April 27. But according to the situation of India is very worse, so that the registration will postponed. Now the Board said that the admission registration will be begins from 08.05.2021.

While announcing the postponement news of the Winter semester registration, the university also said that it will review the situation further and until then the date of Winter semester registration will be May 8.

“The situation warrants taking stringent measures to arrest the spread of COVID-19 in the university. It is directed to all stakeholders of the university to strictly adhere to the SOP/guidelines/preventive measures issued by the Government of India / MoHFW / Delhi Government and University Administration” the circular signed by the university registrar stated.

Ban on unnecessary movement in campus: JNU Registrar Prof. According to the notice issued by Anibarban Chakraborty, the lockdown has been extended in view of increasing cases of corona infection in the national capital. During this period, students, teachers, employees and families living in residential premises will be prohibited from entering the campus. During this time, restrictions on other types of movement have been banned, except for essential services.

Students are advised to sit tight until May 8 and Stay Social Distancing. Follow Covid – 19 Circumstances preferably.
