JNU Admission 2022 for UG through CUET: Registration Details Here.The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2022 application period for undergraduate admissions at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, will soon open. In this context, the institution has also issued a notification.
The university announced that it is processing the NTA data on applicants and will shortly provide a site for applicants to submit their admissions applications.
The university stated in a notification that “following the release of the CUET (UG)-2022 result by NTA, the Admission Branch is processing data/details of candidates provided by NTA and shall open the portal on JNU website shortly for candidates seeking admission in JNU to fill out application forms by paying admission processing fee.”
The website jnu.ac.in/admissions will probably host JNU UG admission.All central institutions will start using CUET for undergraduate admissions this year. Last week, the results of CUET UG’s first edition were released.
Meanwhile, a group of students and staff of JNU has resisted utilizing CUET UG 2022 for admissions arguing the multiple choice questions (MCQ)-based test is insufficient to judge applicants seeking admission for a range of disciplines.
Many lecturers stated the one-size-fits-all strategy is inadequate for a university like JNU offering a lot of unique multidisciplinary disciplines. The introduction of CUET has also been resisted by the JNU Students’ Union (JNUSU).
